  PPRpal is a helper app for creating private aviation cross border declarations.

Private pilots conducting cross border flights in Europe have often to complete information declaration formalities. It is easier within the EU Schengen area but often the handler or the airport also requests details of the flight and those on board. Extra/Intra Schengen declaration is a legal requirement. Increasingly this requirement to declare one’s journey, aircraft and passenger manifest is a ‘pre-notification’ requitement, so not only do you assemble and print off a form you have to submit it in advance. The UK has now gone entirely online and while it provides a free website for entering such details you still have to complete the formalities for the other end of the journey.  This means a burden of using two systems even though the information is very much the same.  The Netherlands also has an online system but unlike the UK will still accept emailed declarations.  The  UK public system is far from easy to use though familiarity always speeds things up. OnlineGAR.com has been providing an Online submission service of over a decade. It continues to be an approved gateway into the UK Border Force system and an alternative to the public website. Whilst this is a paying service it is much speedier to use and integrates with a mobile app. Until 2024 it would integrate with ‘FlightBag’ software such as SkyDemon, but the authors of that system have withdrawn. 

OnlineGAR.com  have  created this helper app which addresses numerous issues   principally 

1. avoiding holding or storing personal ID data except on the user’s own devices 
2. providing a substitute facility to import journey details from Flight Planning software
3. a convenient provision for declarations at both ends of the journey
